This book is good in a way that it provides rapid review of various options available in the management of surgical problems. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed at the pre-operative management which was severely lacking in this book. Such limitation restricts the use of it in the wards for house officers. The author jumped straight into the surgical management without addressing the pre-operative aspect in details. Post-operative management was also not included.I highly recommend the pocket medicine to complement with this book.
